NOTIFICATION
The Supreme Court of the Republic of Croatia is hereby informing the Public that a fake webpage of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Croatia appeared on the Internet at the beginning of October 2016. The fake web page of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Croatia, which was „deleted“ from the Internet by the Information Systems Security Bureau at report of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Croatia in the meantime, contained a false information about “the so called escrow account of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Croatia”, for the purpose of racketing of money funds by unknown persons. Despite the fast reaction numerous calls and letters sent by email from Germany have been received from which it can be concluded that it is an attempt of fraud. From the available documentation it is visible that a stamp of the Supreme Court was counterfeit, as well as the signature and the email address of the Deputy President of the Supreme Court the judge Ana Garačić, and the signature of the president of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Croatia the judge Branko Hrvatin. The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Croatia, Ministry of the Internal Affairs of the Republic of Croatia and the State Attorney’s Office of the Republic of Croatia have been informed about it.
