I would like to inform you and your association about the exciting opportunities available at the International Criminal Court (ICC). In particular, I would like to draw your attention to our Internship and Visiting Professional programs at the Court, which is based in The Hague. Moreover, as the ICC is a new organization we are continually on the lookout for quality individuals to serve as regular staff members.
We would like to promulgate the details of these programs as we are looking for highly motivated and qualified candidates from all over the world, especially Africa, to serve as interns and visiting professionals. Once here the candidate will serve in one of the three organs of the Court (Presidency/Chambers, Office of the Prosecutor or Registry) for a period of up to three months for the visiting professional program and up to six months for the internship program.
Interns and visiting professionals are eligible to be considered for a monthly stipend of EURO 1,000 in order to cover living costs while based in The Netherlands. Furthermore, for Interns and Visiting Professionals granted financial assistance, the costs for return travel (economy class) from the beneficiary’s place of residence to The Hague are borne by the Court.
I would appreciate it if you could kindly help the organization and post the information on your website, notice board or somewhere else within your university in order to inform your colleagues and students. Moreover, would it be possible for your association to post our regular staff vacancies on your website?
For further details, please visit our website: http://www.icc-cpi.int
Your time and assistance is greatly appreciated. If you should have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
